Hi! I’m Disha, a PhD student in the Law and Psychology program at Arizona State University. I’m interested in understanding how research can better support children and families navigating challenging life experiences, particularly family transitions and adversity. My work focuses on resilience, family relationships, and intervention research, with the goal of translating evidence into practical tools and programs that improve the lives of children and families. I was drawn to the YFACS Lab because it combines rigorous, collaborative research with real-world impact, giving me the opportunity to contribute to work that makes a meaningful difference for families and the professionals who support them.
